we are 100 Days smarter!
On Tuesday, January 19th, 2016, we were FINALLY able to celebrate our 100th day of Kindergarten!
Some of the fun things we were able to do were: making 100 day hats and ties to wear, listening to a couple of special 100 day stories, stringing 100 beads to make a necklace, counting our 100 collections, predicting if 100 kernels of popcorn would fill a small, medium, or large bowl, eating a popcorn snack, and making portraits of what we will look like when we are 100 years old! The children also brought in collections of 100 items. We weighed them to find out who had the heaviest and lightest collections. Olivia brought the heaviest collection of 100 Shopkin toys while Raychelle had the lightest collection of 100 rubber bands! The children also completed a 100 day contract for homework that evening by completing 100 short activities. They were given a "Smarties" treat the following day for officially becoming 100 days SMARTER!
Of course, we had to use the "Aging Booth" app to actually see what we might look like when we are 100 years old! The kids really got a kick out of this!
